Against Breast Cancer

Join the fight against breast cancer by participating in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® walk on Oct. 19 at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the walk starts at 11 a.m. This inspiring event unites the entire community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about the importance of early detection and prevention, and raise money to fund lifesaving research and support programs to further our progress against this disease. For Cancer Research and Survivors

Since 2005, hundreds of men, women and children have been using their bikes to raise close to $2 million to support cancer survivors by riding in the Connecticut Challenge bike ride. But where does that leave the people who are on the golf course on a beautiful summer Saturday or have summer family vacation plans that keep getting in the way? For that group (you?) the Connecticut Challenge is pleased to start a new tradition on the golf course.

Walk to Fight Diabetes

The American Diabetes Association is proud to honor the memory of Bill Gonillo, well known, well loved and well respected Sportscaster in Fairfield County.
